Anyone like me where you still believe in MOST of their doctrines?
by inquirer inlike i don't like that un involvment, record keeping.
i don't know what to think about the paedophile stuff, because you could accuse the catholic church of that too.
but apart from those things i still believe that god's name is jehovah, his son is jesus, no trinity, and he died on a torture stake... i love reading the new world translation, i believe it's the best one, but i love reading other translations too!

by MarkAnthony ini was raised roman catholic but stopped going about 25 years ago.
i was talking with someone i work with who is a jw and suggested i might look into it.

You are absolutely right!
2Timothy 3: 3 says "having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanders, without selfcontrol, fierce, without love of goodness."
This is Jesus' answer to the question about 'the signs of the times'. ... "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here."
The description Jesus gave here is of unbelievers and apostates.

so i tell her, cause you adviced me to be honest.
and despite all my fears, she took it very calm, and then told my dad whos also taking it calm, and it doesnt seem like theyre hating me now or want to throw me out of the house.. the thing is.

Valis ... tonight at 21:50 you made mention that you deleted a post of mine. It appeared that you meant you did that tonight ... Odrade felt you did too, as she mentioned I hadn't responded to you about it. You were not clear in that post that you were referencing the one from the other night. It looked like you were just doing the same old .. same old. Thus I didn't bother to ask what I'd said this time.
"admission by silence" were Odrades words in reference to me not asking about you deleting my post tonight.
I also said to Odrade "Actually, Odrade, I have no idea which post he deleted tonight."
Thus you see where you led us to believe there were two deletes.
